Twitter is telling advertisers that daily user growth reached “all-time highs” in the first week of Elon Musks ownership, according to a document obtained by The Verge.
A memo distributed Monday to the sales team said that growth in monetizable daily active users accelerated to more than 20 percent, according to The Verge.
The memo said more than 15 million mDAUs were added since the end of the second quarter, “crossing the quarter billion mark.”
Twitter stopped reporting as a public company after the second quarter. Musks $44 billion acquisition closed Oct. 27, making him owner and CEO.
Musk on Sunday tweeted that “user numbers have increased significantly around the world” since his takeover was announced.
